Work work work work work work.
— Robyn Rihanna Fenty

Hi again!

I’m Brittani. It’s still pronounced like the pop star, even with that extra “i.”

I am a Culture writer based in New York with a particular kink for arts criticism and artist profiles. Currently, I am the co-editor of 3Views on Theater and a contributing critic for Broadway News. Before that, I participated in the BIPOC Critics Lab hosted by The Kennedy Center as well as the Eugene O’Neill National Critics Institute. In 2022, I became the inaugural recipient of the Edward Medina Prize for Excellence in Cultural Criticism. Previous gigs also include: Show-Score, Signature Theatre, Feinstein’s/54 Below, and The Pekoe Group.

I have been in a long-term relationship with the entertainment industry (first as a fan, and now as a fanatic) and consider it a blessing to roll around with words for a living. If you are looking for a journalist to assist with your publication, podcast, or panel, I’d love to hear from you! Check out the site and see if I’m the right fit for your project. But know that if you just want to chat about Rihanna, I’m game for that too.

Either way, thanks for being here.

xx,

B
